He is only 1 and when I work I normally have family members cover the childcare but I felt this was a good move. He's doing two half days to begin with.
As he's our 1st and currently as not sure if anymore are on the cards we think it'll be good for him to socialise with children his own age; and the way he teared off this morning to play with the toys and other children , I know he'll enjoy it.
Although him being so happy didn't stop me from being a bit teary. This mum gig is so emotional. Everytime there a new phase like moving into his own room or when I moved him on to the bottle he takes it all in his stride I'm the one reaching for the tissues lol
Feeling better now as it's been a couple of hours and no call to say come and collect him as he's too upset. Also had some chocolate purely as a holistic remedy for my nerves.
Know in my head this is a great thing for him and I'm sure my heart and emotions will realise the same in the next sessions.
